[Jalan-jalan 2013]Johor Bahru Malaysia - Singapore Revenge!

So, this is my second visit to UTM Malaysia to compete again in the same competition, which is The Oil Rig Design Competition. But there are few difference from previous competition:
1. The theme is environmental friendly so now we must build our rig model with recycle/used material, the recycled material should get along with 'environmental tranquillity' points of this event's purpose.
2. Not semisubmersible, even still offshore rig but now the theme is Jacketed Structure. To give you a glimpse about jacket structure, here is a picture of it:
3. Now the rig was made on the spot with limited time of work. We didn't know the material yet until the competition time.

Okay, so let's see our rig (made on 4 hours of team work):
Picture above is the champion of OIL RIG Competition this year. Yes, finally I was the champion of the competition. Previous competition on 2012 I have not any credits for the the competition. But thanks for the hardwork from my super team-mate, it finally became real! This is my team:

Okay, so lets get going to my story in Singapore. Because in Johor, actually I didn't experiencing the travelling time as tourist. You know, beside LegoLand not many tourist place in JB. The mall, which is JB Premium Outlet was also boring and the outlet was so expensive.
What are different from my previous trip to Singapore:
1. We didn't slept in Changi anymore, we got to a backpaker inn in Clarke Quay. The name is Blissful Loft and this place is very nice. With approx. 30SGD you will get a nice place to rest, take a shower, and even breakfast (bread + jam + tea). It was far better than slept at Changi! Totally worth it! Free Wi-Fi, and check the website if you want to stay at them. Bllisful Loft Inn
2. I bought my EZTicket for transportation using bus, MRT, etc. I feel someday I could use this card again, feeling optimistic coming back to Singapore again. (Hopefully!)
3. Going to my cousin's house in Tiong Bahru and meet her son. They were so nice, treat me with nice chinese food and bought me a chocolate and very tasty instant noodle. (Tom Yum Friend Noodle Nissin).

Maybe it's it for now, hope I will tell story about my trip to another country I will visit. Cheers!
